    Delivery Driver (Class A)

    Description

    This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with the possibly of an occasional Saturday. The employee must safely operate a Route Truck weighing more than 26,000 pounds. A Florida Class A license is required. Applicants for this position must be willing to work on a “Guaranteed Day Rate with Fluctuating Overtime” salary structure.

    The Driver must be able to:

    • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with customers and sales personnel.
    • Unload product from the truck and properly store in the account.
    • Completely replenish inventory levels located in the cooler, end caps, displays, and other areas where our products may be located.
    • Maintain product in an orderly fashion in the back rooms and storage areas of our accounts.
    • Maintain product freshness guidelines with proper rotation and close attention to product dates.
    • Build displays in accounts when needed and maintain POS material.
    • Conduct safety inspections on truck and operate in a safe manner.

    Description

    This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. There may be the expectation to work special nighttime promotions and possible weekends. Previous sales experience required. Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and safe driving record.

    Description

    This is a full-time position with a varied five-day workweek. This position is required to work weekends and most holidays. Start time for Merchandisers can be as early as 4:30 in the morning depending on the route and store requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Restock shelves, coolers, displays, end caps and other areas of the store
    • Maintain product freshness guidelines with proper rotation

  • Position title

    Warehouse Worker / Forklift Driver

    Description

    This is a full-time position, Sunday through Thursday, with the possibility of an occasional Saturday. This is a night-time position and will most likely start late in the afternoon and work until the early morning. This position is responsible for filling customer orders from the warehouse stock, stacking cases on a pallet and then safely operating a forklift to place the pallet of product on the truck for delivery.

    Responsibilities

    • Read loading diagrams and load inventory sheets
    • Assemble customer orders on pallet as diagrammed ensuring accuracy and quality of order
    • Load pallet of product on assigned delivery vehicle or delivery staging area
    • Meet company standards for productivity
    • Operate forklift (or similar equipment) safe and efficient manner. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment
    • Safely move delivery vehicles to and from loading area
    • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
    • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and within OSHA standards
    • Insure proper rotation and product quality in warehouse
    • Safely operate all warehouse equipment (baler, shrink wrap, etc)
    • Maintain product in the repack area when needed
    • Report all damage or safety concerns to warehouse supervisor

    Description

    Routing Coordinator is responsible for receiving, sequencing, and structuring all orders that are received daily from the Sales Team. The Routing Coordinator is the first step in the order building process as this position makes sure that the orders are perfect before being built. Once all the orders have been received, the Routing Coordinator is responsible for auditing orders that are incorrect and makes sure that the loading of product unto trucks follows the correct sequence. The Routing Coordinator will also serve as a Warehouse Lead when the Night Time Warehouse Manager is not present.

    Schedule: Sunday-Thursday.

    Start time: 2pm until done.

    Responsibilities:

    • Audit pallets when they are incorrect.

    • Controls any swaps or out of stock inventory levels for each order.

    Description

    Bernie Little Distributors currently has an opening for an On Premise Sales position in Sebring.

    This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with an occasional evening and/or weekend. Previous sales experience required. Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License and safe driving record.

    Lead Service Supervisor

    Description

    Bernie Little Distributors currently has an opening for Lead Service Supervisor within the Delivery Department in Eaton Park. This position will report to the Service Manager daily. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. The employee must safely operate a Route Truck weighing more than 26,000 pounds. A “Florida Class A” license is required. Applicants must also have the ability to learn VIP software and knowledge of certain programs such as Excel and Power Point. The position will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Delivery/Service personnel. This applicant must be able to:

    • Work early morning hours with a start time of 3:00 am until finished, with occasional nights and weekend to accommodate after hours events.
    • Oversee and provide direction to all delivery/service personnel and Service Supervisors.
    • Oversee the development of new delivery/service personnel through Service Supervisors.
    • Insure all delivery routes are ran as scheduled.
    • Maintain all quality standards for delivery personnel.
    • Coordinate delivery/service activities with Sales and Merchandising personnel.
    • Communicate and inspect all safety initiatives with employees.

    Description

    Bernie Little Distributors has openings for Class A CDL Delivery Driver within the Delivery Department.

    On-Premise keg route delivering to Polk County bars and restaurants

    This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position. The employee must safely operate a Route Truck weighing more than 26,000 pounds. A Florida Class A license is required. Applicants for this position must be willing to work on a “Guaranteed Day Rate with Fluctuating Overtime” salary structure.

    Truck Check-in Specialist

    Description

    The Truck Check-in Specialist will be responsible for reconciling loads after the driver’s deliver their product for the day. The Truck Check-in Specialist must have strong communication skills and high attention to detail.

    Monday – Friday 9 am – 6pm

    Minimal Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Become forklift certified within 5 days of employment
    • Forklift experience preferred
    • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision

    Responsibilities and Performance Expectations

    include but are not limited to the following

    • Check in trucks when they arrive at the loading area
    • Accurately close the driver’s inventory through the driver’s handheld
    • Unload pallets, beer and kegs off arriving trucks
    • Assign and complete tasks of put backs, breakage or swap section
    • Keep check in station clean and organized
    • Correct disposal of old beer when applicable
    • Help warehouse stock if necessary
    • Performs other tasks as assigned

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to repetitively lift 20-35 pounds due to stacking products
    • Ability to move on and off a forklift continuously
  • Position title

    Warehouse Manager (Lakeland Only)

    Description

    The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the warehouse, day and night shift. The Warehouse Manager will need to possess a strong understanding of inventory, routing, receiving and loading processes. This position is also responsible for the safety of warehouse personnel in accordance with OSHA safety guidelines.

    Minimal Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on management or 5 years previous industry management experience
    • Previous warehouse and/or beverage industry experience
    • Inventory/routing software experience preferred but not required
    • Previous forklift and/or pallet jack experience
    • Valid Florida Driver’s License
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to organize and delegate effectively
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Proficient in MS Office applications

    Responsibilities and Performance Expectations

    include but are not limited to the following

    • Effectively develop processes and plan for efficient workflow and development of the warehouse operation
    • Train warehouse employees on how to correctly build delivery pallets and loading techniques
    • Train, develop and coach warehouse personnel in order to maximize their forklift/pallet jack operation skills
    • Responsible for productivity improvement tasks (i.e., reducing pick errors, increase picks per hour etc.)
    • Control the movement, storage and rotation of inventory through the warehouse
    • Investigate and resolve opportunities related to storage locations, product code, load discrepancies, breakage, warehouse environmental control and security
    • Order and maintain proper inventory of repacking supplies
    • Responsible for the disposition of damaged and out of code products
    • Coordinate brewery deliveries and load backs with carriers. Ensure proper identification and condition of brewery loads
    • Maintain both the facility and equipment in a clean and orderly way
    • Manage the process of unloading products and deliveries to verify shipping documents and rotate on a FIFO basis
    • Track all products entering and leaving the warehouse
    • Minimize inventory shrinkage from theft and/or damage
    • Schedule forklift repairs
    • Manage warehouse personnel including managing time off, training current employees and new hires, coaching and disciplining when necessary

  • Position title

    Accountant (Lakeland Only)

    Description

    This position is expected to perform a variety of duties such as maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, assisting with audits and budgeting processes and reconciling accounts. This position will also be responsible for learning each function of the Accounting Department.

    • Learn Driver Recon process to provide backup and support
    • Support Accounts Payable and Account Receivable processes
    • Make suggestions for improvements to our processes.
    • Establish and maintain detailed SOPs for all functions
    • Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded
    • Manage and update WEX database for fuel cards
    • Maintain promotional information and updates in VIPR (software) and VIP Beverage on the Web (software)
    • Work with Accounting Supervisor to support Beverage Tax process
    • Work with LeaseQuery software to maintain leased property database
    • Any other duties as assigned

    Night-time Warehouse Supervisor

    Description

    The Night-time Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for all of the operations conducted during the second shift. The main responsibilities of the Night-time Warehouse Supervisor will be to ensure the building of orders, wrapping and staging correctly of all orders and then loading the orders by route for next day delivery.

    Minimal Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in management of warehouse, logistics or production setting
    • 1-3 years of experience in WMS systems for warehousing
    • Proficient in MS Office products
    • Ability to manage 8-10 warehouse operators effectively and efficiently
    • Forklift and ride on pallet jack experience and certification preferred

    Responsibilities and Performance Expectations include but are not limited to the following:

    • Trains warehouse employees on how to correctly build delivery pallets and loading techniques

    This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position. The employee must safely operate a Route Truck weighing more than 26,000 pounds. A “Florida Class A” license is required. Applicants must also have the ability to learn VIP software. The position will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of all Deliver/Service personnel.
    This applicant must be able to:
